Carcaptain limited, herein represented by its official website namely carcaptain.MOBI are not affiliated with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). However, Carcaptain makes use of the DVSA portal facilities to book theory tests and practical driving tests on behalf of its clients and instructors on instruction. Carcaptain’s driving instructors are regulated and governed in accordance with the requirements and regulations as laid down by the DVSA from time to time.
It is important to remember that if for any reason you need to cancel or move your test which has been locked-down onto your name, after you have confirmed it with us, you will need to give us three clear working days notice (Saturdays are included, Sundays and public holidays are excluded) of the impending move or cancellation of the locked-down test. This requirement is based on the requirement which is imposed on Carcaptain by the terms and conditions of the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). If you fail to inform us, the full fee will still be payable, even if you do not attend the actual test. Our offices are not open on a Saturday. Therefore, excluding potential Monday public holidays, we would need notification of a test cancellation for Thursday on the Friday pre-ceding the coming test date of the Thursday. If there was a public holiday on Monday, and you had a test booked for Friday, we will need notification of the cancellation on the Friday pre-ceding the test of the following Friday.
